Rutilated Quartz is quartz composed by rutile mineral which is formed by titanium dioxide. The needles of Rutile penetrates the quartz when it is in the process of crystallization. Rutile has around 10% of iron and that is why sometimes the needles are red or golden. Rutilated Quartz is a stone for protection and spiritual growth. It works as a filter that blocks negative energy.
